It really is tiring, I often get begging emails from programs I’m already signed up at! Seo providers seem to have the same tactic, as do link builders.

What I would like to see is an affiliate manager who genuinely spots something that could be done to better intergrate their program with your site, rather than just demanding more players and asking you to push boring promotions.

I don’t agree with your statement. Its their right to generate revenue from displaying ads. Even Google displaying ads, check Gmail for reference.

Yeah, you do have to do a little bit of work. Once you blacklist a particular phrase, it’s never suggested or seen again. Most of the one word phrases the tool generates for me are pulled from Google Webmaster tools. The best keyword phrases the tool generates for me are pulled from my referral logs.

I didn’t like it – but then again I didn’t spend much time with it.

It came up with mostly words that were irrelevant. Ridiculous things like “legal” “best” “information” etc.

There were some actual phrases in there but a lot of the results were just crap for me and not helpful.

I assume it gets better the more time you give it to populate it and spend time on it… but overall it didn’t seem overly helpful to me.

I might give it another shot though.
